Justine was born in the UK & emigrated to Australia in 1992.
Since qualifying as a counsellor in 1998 Justine has maintained
a private practice working with individuals and families on a wide
range of issues.
Justine has consulted in a medical centre as part of a multi-
disciplinary team which offered a holistic approach to learning
difficulties. As a senior clinician, Justine worked part time for
2 years with families in a drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre.
In 2007 Justine commenced speaking at conferences, notably,
Autism Awareness and Mindd Foundation.
As well as writing parenting columns for magazines, in 2008
Justine contributed an informative chapter for the new Australian
Autism Handbook – “Through Grief to Self Care “ in which she
highlights the needs of families raising a child with special needs.

Justine is part of the Carers NSW
NCCP (National Carers Counselling
Programme) which provides low-fee
counselling for carers and she runs
support groups for parents of
children with disabilities all over
Sydney.
